Your books, and who sees them
Last updated 21 October 2026
Gulabi Bahi is made by Mizuron (the trade name of Yashasvi Nilesh Jariwala, GSTIN 24AZRPJ0749D1ZE; 2nd Floor, Privilon, East Wing, SG Highway, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380054). This note covers this website, the demo at try.gulabibahi.com, and a shop's own books at app.gulabibahi.com. In short: a shop's books belong to the shop, nobody at Mizuron reads them, and the shop can take a full copy away any day.
1. What we keep
- When you ask us to call you (the form on this site): your shop's name, your name, mobile number and anything else you choose to write.
- When a shop opens its account: the shop's name, the owner's name, mobile number (the login) and email (for password resets), and the plan picked. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash; nobody can read them back.
- The books themselves: bills, estimates, receipts, parties and their contact details and GSTINs, stock, rates and the shop's letterhead, bank and UPI details.
- The activity log: who in the shop did what and when, with the device's IP address and browser, so a shop can always see who changed a bill.
The demo keeps nothing on our servers: it lives in your own browser, and clearing the browser clears it.
2. Your customers' details
The parties in a shop's books are the shop's customers. The shop decides what goes in about them and answers to them for it; Mizuron only stores it for the shop and uses it for nothing else.
3. Who can see a shop's books
- The people the shop's admin adds, each with their own login. Every one of their changes is logged.
- Not Mizuron. Our operators see each shop's name, owner, plan, how many days are left, how many bills it has and how much space it takes — never a bill, a party or a rate. The database enforces this, not just the screens.
- If a shop asks us to fix or restore something, we work from its backup only for that, and the restore is written into the shop's own activity log.
4. Where it is kept
- The books: a database at Neon, in its Singapore region (on Amazon Web Services). The app runs on Vercel, in the same region.
- Backups: a copy of each shop's books every night, in private Vercel storage, kept for 90 days.
- Email (password links, invitations, plan reminders): sent through Google Workspace from mizuron.com.
- The call-back form on this site: emailed to us through Formspree and kept in our own database.
Everything travels encrypted. These providers hold the data for us; they do not use it for themselves. Singapore is outside India, which Indian law allows today; if that changes, we will move the books.
5. What we use it for
To run the book, to send the emails the book needs (a password link, an invitation, a reminder that a trial is ending, a receipt for a payment), and to bill a shop for its plan through billing.mizuron.com, which is matched to the shop by the owner's mobile number. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or put advertising in the book. The book sets only the cookies that keep you logged in; there are no tracking or advertising cookies, and this site has none at all.
To make the book better, we also record how it is used: which screens are opened, for how long, and when things like a bill being saved or a statement being downloaded happen, with the shop and login they came from. This never includes what is in a bill, a party's name, an amount, or anything typed, and it is kept apart from the shops' books.
On this website and on mizuron.com we count visits, without a cookie and without anything kept in your browser: which page was opened, the site that sent you here (the site only, not the page), the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer), and which clicks lead somewhere, like opening the demo. Your IP address is used for a moment to tell the rough area you are in, a city or a state, and is not stored. None of this is tied to a name or a number, and none of it follows you to other websites.
6. Taking it with you, and leaving
An admin can download the whole book from Settings at any time, including after a trial or a paid year has run out, when the book stays open to read and download. When a shop asks us to close its account, we delete its books from the database within 30 days; the nightly backups age out within 90 days after that. The activity log is kept for as long as the books are, because it is what makes them trustworthy.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to support@mizuron.com. Yashasvi Jariwala is our Grievance Officer: they answer these requests, and any complaint about how we handle your data, within 30 days.
8. Changes
If this note changes in a way that matters, we'll email each shop's admin before it takes effect.
